We are Losing our Nation — U.S. Generals and Admirals

This is the deepest peril in America’s history

The U.S. military is largely regarded as America's most highly respected institution.

Those who have worn a uniform are deservedly honored for what they have accomplished and sacrificed to keep the United States as a free country.

When a group of more than 130 retired generals and admirals issues a warning against losing our free country, every American should pay close attention.

“With the Democratic Party welcoming Socialists and Marxists, our historic way of life is at stake,” is the message of an open letter, issued to the public Wednesday by the group Flag Officers 4 America.

“We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776,” the letter says.

This assessment of the situation is as accurate as it is urgent.

The officers lay out some of the steepest challenges facing America, offering recommendations for rectification.

“The purpose of the open letter is to ask citizens to look carefully at what is happening to our nation and to take swift action, getting involved at the local, state and national levels to elect and hold accountable political representatives who will act to save America and our Constitutional Republic,” an accompanying press release says.

Many challenges resulting from the stolen election

Without explicitly addressing fraud in the 2020 election, it is strongly implied in the letter.

“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,” the officers say.

The group—which includes Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney and Army Major General Paul Vallely, frequent Steel Truth guests—says that there must be changes in the way future elections are conducted.

“The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.”

The officers accuse the Biden Administration of launching a “full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner,” citing that more than 50 executive orders were quickly signed. These orders bypassed Congress and reversed the Trump administration’s “effective policies and regulations.”

The missive points out that China is “the greatest external threat” to America, and that the administration’s cooperative relationship “emboldens them” toward world domination.

Instead of cozying up to the Chinese Communist Party, the former command officers recommend “more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests.”

Governmental overreach in response to the pandemic is also criticized.

“Population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental rights,” the letter says.

Border must be controlled, military needs to focus on fighting

The retired officers advise that control of the border must be reestablished, through completion of the wall and support of border agents.

“Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorist entries, health and Covid-19 dangers and humanitarian crises. Illegals are flooding our Country bringing high economic costs, crime, lowering wages, and illegal voting in some states.

"Sovereign nations must have controlled borders."

One of the most pressing issues addressed by the senior officers is the mishandling of the military.

“We must eliminate the corrosive infusion of Political Correctness into our military which damages morale and war fighting cohesion,” the letter says, adding that the deployment of the divisive critical race theory in the military has a detrimental impact on the military’s war fighting mission.

The officers are also critical of deploying troops around the U.S. Capitol “against a non-existent threat.”

The generals and admirals express their concern about the mental and physical condition of President Joe Biden.

The commander-in-chief “must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb,” at all times and locations. “Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge,” the command officers wrote.

The military leaders also criticize the Biden administration for stopping the Keystone Pipeline and re-engaging in the Iran Nuclear Deal.

“Under a Democrat Congress and the Current Administration, our Country has taken a hard left turn toward Socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government,” the letter says.

“The ‘will of the people’ must be heard and followed.”

Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, former 3rd in command of the U.S. Air Force, was among 130 generals and admirals who signed a letter declaring America is in deep peril.
